well what can i say? youth camp was great, no not yeah-i-got-to-meet-alot-of-new-people-and-have-fun great, but great as in 'great is the Lord and most worthy of praise...'

worship was definitely moving, though i didnt get to experience it from the point of view of the rest of the campers, but i could feel their energy and the touch of God upon them when i led and played.

I am thankful for this time set aside for me to truly experience God, and be in His presense. The time spent playing guitar alone instead of partaking in free-time games, was well spent indeed.

Intimacy with God is the greatest battle in our lives, and i believe every word of it. Our God is not merely a provider or shelter or protector, he is a God that desires us, that loves us, and wants to be intimate with us.

Help me know you are near."

Words that can be easily applied to someone you love other than God, how appropiate to choose a more generic song for the camp theme song. So that people can decide.

I learnt that entrusting things into God's hands and being faithful, is the best way to go about doing anything.

Things are ironing out and straightening, just like the rebuilding of a structure or monument. Talk about camp afterglow.

Is that happiness i feel? Feels pretty good.

And of course i will miss ding, despite not knowing him very well. i shan't write a tribute or splash my emotions across this post, i will just say that Ding Si Yan will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him.

That is all, back to hibernation i go.
