why does my dad try to speak with a british accent and succeed only in annoying me and embarrasing me?

since when did steak and ale pie constitute stew with a bun on top?!

i had this idea about a scriptwriter's script but i forgot the elaboration.

english beggars use designer caps to collect their coins, chinese beggars use the cups from the trash

i am tired of people who possess undisputed intelligence.

honestly, what is the point of taking yourself against the scenery? can't people just appreciate nature for once?

soccer freaks will kill me for this but mindlessly supporting your team even though it's not trying it's best or whatever is... well mindless. so there, you don't need to talk about soccer in every blog post or play soccer everyday to tell which team is trying harder and/or playing better.

why does everything seem possible when the magic number one is added to the timestable of three!

and british news is so much better presented and more interesting than singapore news.

hello i will be back soon and quite frankly cant wait

(i'm tired of lugging my M16/M4A1 carbine replica around and hoping i won't get caught at the airport)

hee haw.

anyway there had been really long car rides where my mind was allowed to wander, luckily we've stopped moving and have settled back in london now for some rest. (and internet at last.)

yeah anyway i miss everyone alot and i fear my return due to chriskng, oh dear.

sally makes good companionship.

well what can i say? youth camp was great, no not yeah-i-got-to-meet-alot-of-new-people-and-have-fun great, but great as in 'great is the Lord and most worthy of praise...'

worship was definitely moving, though i didnt get to experience it from the point of view of the rest of the campers, but i could feel their energy and the touch of God upon them when i led and played.

I am thankful for this time set aside for me to truly experience God, and be in His presense. The time spent playing guitar alone instead of partaking in free-time games, was well spent indeed.

Intimacy with God is the greatest battle in our lives, and i believe every word of it. Our God is not merely a provider or shelter or protector, he is a God that desires us, that loves us, and wants to be intimate with us.

Words that can be easily applied to someone you love other than God, how appropiate to choose a more generic song for the camp theme song. So that people can decide.

I learnt that entrusting things into God's hands and being faithful, is the best way to go about doing anything.

Things are ironing out and straightening, just like the rebuilding of a structure or monument. Talk about camp afterglow.

Is that happiness i feel? Feels pretty good.

And of course i will miss ding, despite not knowing him very well. i shan't write a tribute or splash my emotions across this post, i will just say that Ding Si Yan will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him.
